So convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved and placed the exact same door lock on our new home. The lock is one of my favorite new features of our home. It tracks and notifies me (if I choose to be notified) of who is entering our home. The other great feature is that I. A lock the door from anywhere.

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy with the looks and the features of the Encode lock. However, the alerts/notifications, such as when the lock is engaged or unlocked can take a while to populate over to the phone app. My wireless network is strong, and the lock is in and open concept room with the router, so not interference.

Install kit needs upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As this is often a replacement lock, could use a 2nd set of screws with wider shanks for those reused holes. More bite=more security. A set of door latch shims wouldn't hurt either. Having to take the mount apart every few months to replace the battery is a big drawback. Think about a rechargeable. It's an expensive lock, spend the extra couple $.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stays looking nice

Durable and lasts about 5years at the beach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the fancier version with push buttons on the inside to lock or unlock but the electronics failed after 5 months over the winter.Hardest part of installation is tucking the wires in to put the inside cover on
