Hope it last longer, fingers crossed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First one failed to lock after manual locking from the inside. Imagine our surprise when someone walked into our house. Cchanged batteries several times when this occurred. Work for awhile then failed the same way. Reset codes tried several times it would work. 2 months later failed again. This went on for over a year, lost confidence bought another as warranty was no good anymore. New one works good over the past 24 hours. Have another in a difference place and has lasted 1.5 yrs and finally had to change battery. No failures noted but has one sticker number on key pad requiring several attempts. Changed passcode not using that number works ok now. Have not looked up a forum on this product but will have to now. Scary when you do not know if it will fail, but we have learned to recheck the out door handle due to lack of confidence at times. Below question , would you recommend? Not yet but if it fails again will have to sound the alarm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good product. Only one draw back. Don't leave home without a metal key. When the battery fails the door will be locked, i.e. the outside leaver will not function to open the door. You will need the metal key to allow the outside handle to function.
