Easy to install, very handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed these by myself. I got two of the electronic ones that are also Wi-Fi and two that are not Wi-Fi. Off for work great. Very happy with this. Now if I can just remember how to use it! I came on here to figure out how to lock it cuz I guess I accidentally caused it to be unlocked. Other than that I still like it. I just have to remember what I did to cause it to unlock. So that's why I'm here to take a look at some directions that I can't seem to find even though I know they're here in the house somewhere.

Better than comparable competitor product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s fascinating how two similar products install quite differently. I bought and attempted to install a similar Kwikset product. I returned it after I could not secure one of the door handless . The Schlage product was much easier to install overall.

Latch keypad

Excellent Light Commercial keypad lock- DIY easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this make/model based upon our commercial door/window specialist’s recommendation.I installed 2 of them as a first timer on two storeroom, standard 7.0 x 3.0, steel doors. I consulted the included directions and online Youtubes from Schlage and individuals before and during. The first installl went easy- peasy thanks to the assistance from the threaded screw (hand-free) that enabled me to complete the job two handed as it allows the keypad side to remain in position to allow the you to line up and install the opposite side’s plastic control plate with battery holder, wiring, thumb lock and lever handle cover without having to hold up the Keypad w/lever handle side. The lock works great -and was easy to install. The second unit too longer to install as without the “hand-free” assist feature, I really could have have used another set of hands to hold the keypad w/level sode in place to allow me to line up and install the opposite site cover with thumblock and lever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 5 of these keyless entry locks now. Why carry keys that are never in your pocket, much less pulling down on my pants! Enter the code and enter. We really like that we can use our elbow to unlock the handle and not have to grip a round handle with our hands full. We have added these locks over about a 5 year period, they are proven to us to be reliable and durable.

Best purchase ever

This thing has never failed to dissapoint. Alittle hard to click the buttons sometimes but other than that works amazing.
