Looks great. Directions not so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time I've replaced a front door lock set. The last time was about 10 years ago; i.e., I'm not a handy man. While I accomplished the task, the directions were essentially useless. First, the directions are for several different versions based on what i assume is a model number (F60, F62, F63, F93). Which is fine. Excecpt there is no way to tell which model number you have. Nothing on the box nor any labels on the parts. Next, directions such as "measure the bolt as shown in the picture" is almost laughable. Why am I measuring it. What if the measurement is longer or shorter. Third, while some pictures were somewhat helpful most provided no real value add. I'm sure anyone who does this more than I've every tell years wouldn't need directions, but please, if your going to the trouble of putting directions in the package, try to do a more professional job of it! I wouldn't recommend this lock or brand to anyone who doesn't do this sorry of thing very often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
