Can't go wrong with a Schlage lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock replaced the Schlage FE599 lock. It finally failed after 15 years of reliable service. The FE595 was easy to installed, in less than 5 minutes. Programming took a little longer because everything had to be manually entered. I hope this lock will last at least 15 years, similar to the last lock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good overall, do need to replace the latch several times throughout it's life but other than that these are great until the microswitch on baseplate finally crapes out. But other than that they last for years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several of these and have had them over a year with no complaints. I would recommend installing a lithium battery but it’s not hard to change the battery. 2 screws and a 9v plug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace one of these. It was only about a year or two old but it did get a lot of use. Seems like the mechanical lock just wore out. Until that point though it was great
