Durability and Key Misconception!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the electronic lock fail. Lifetime warranty but, only 3 years on electronic part. (Lock is 4 years old) I can handle this, it's just disappointing that it didn't last longer.
MY BIGGEST PROBLEM:
This lock has physical key option. This is somewhat deceptive. Users need to know that this in NO way is a key bypass(like competitor's). The key function on this product simply mimics the correct code entry. So, if you have a dead battery, the key will NOT unlock this product. For this reason, I question WHY to even put a key option on the product. I understand there is a low battery alert however, the beeper is very faint.

Great having keypad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed on new door did not realize handle didn’t have lock also but never used old handle lock anyway just used deadbolt . Video was extremely helpful mine did not have the mentioned dust cup for strike plate
