Only downside is, I prefer locks that lock and unlock without having to turn lock knob. Automatic lock/unlock.

I forgot the code the next day and I went to work and forgot the key and so forth… luckily I had one on the back door that I remembered the code… trust me it’s hard to break into these without kicking the door ina nd breaking the jamb!

Love it. Got my second Schlage Keypad Lever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed my second keypad lever just days ago. I love the simple function, the ease of changing the code and the security it provides. It was really easy to install, except that tucking the wires was a bit challenging in such a small space. Also, how the key functions was not readily apparent. The key only turns one quarter turn. I’m used to older lock mechanisms that that the key may turn 180 degrees or more, make some sound and provide some feeling of mechanical feedback. After initial befuddlement and much trial and error, I realized the activated a switch silently and actually turning the lever reveals the door is unlocked. Since this is different that older lock mechanisms, a short description should be included in the instructions. None of these thing, however are bad enough to warrant less that 5 stars.
