No perspective on durability or security, but can comment on an engineering oversight that is fairly damning. During installation there is a threaded post used to slide the inner plastic plate into a retained position, to facilitate installation and later battery replacement. The plastic tabs used to slide onto the threaded post break off under slight pressure- and did. Fortunately I had a spare nut that fit the post, to properly secure it.
From an engineering perspective from a lock company, this obvious flaw is inexplicably surprising. Several simple ways to fix it:
1 - Do away with cheap disgusting flimsy plastic in favor of a metal plate, and use a screw to hold the plate into place.
2 - keep the disturbingly cheap plastic plate, make it thicker, and use a screw to hold it in place.
3 - don’t use a plate at all, but replace it with a bracket and retain the bracket one of several ways, such as screw, clip, or large nut, etc.

Anything but that flimsy easy breaking thin plastic plate used now. I mean I’ve had take home single use food boxes that are stronger than that plate.

The perfect keyless or Key entry door lock

that allow the opening of the door. It is very well built giving strong security with percision and duribility as excected when purchasing a Schlage product. Also ergonomic and has a beautiful satin finish.
