Having to swap out the original antenna that came with my radios. They are breaking off at the plastic piece. I have them on my farm equipment and they just do not last. The new ones have a coil spring on the which helps them take some abuse.

I bought this antenna to replace a dual band antenna that I was using. This antenna allowed me to be able to talk on a repeater that the dual band antenna wasn't able to. Big improvement for sure.

The mxta26 works well. Better than the shorter antenna that comes with the mxt275 15 watt radio. I have two of each antenna's and radios. Im satisfied with the improved range !

I had an SWR of 1.38. I think the antenna is tunable but there were no instructions on howe to do so. And expert might think instructions are not needed, but I am not an expert.
