I own both the MicroMobile® MXTA26 6db Gain Whip Antenna as well as the MicroMobile® MXTA25 3db Gain Ghost Antenna and both have performed perfectly depending on which overlanding excursion I'm on. The quality on both units are excellent as well as they both look great on my vehicles. I would certainly recommend these products.

I've been using another brand's antenna on the NMO mount I have on my '12 Grand Cherokee, thought I'd give the Midland a try. Glad I did! Dang near perfect SWR across the band, and it's added some range on transmit and receive too. Get you one of these, you won't be disappointed.

This appears to be very well built and durable. I misunderstood and thought it was a complete assembly. That’s my fault, not Midland’s.
This is just the antenna. You will still need a base and cable in order to use it. Midland has them.
