I bought a 6 db gain mxta26 With a magnet mounted on top of the car . I obtained vswr 1.1:1without any trimming. Just like Randy said(notarubicon),I am happy!

At first I thought I need to purchase an SWR meter to tune the Antenna, which I didn't want to do. As I researched this information, I found out from a Blog that the antenna came pre-tuned from the factory. I did a little research at the Midland website and found a statemen stating that the Antenna is in fact pre-tunned, that was a relief for me, since I didn't want to, nor had the time to purchased the SWR meter. I printing that statement in the packaging for the antennas
