Great Antenna!

The antenna performs really well on GMRS and I hooked it to a VHF 2 Meter HAM radio and called through a repeater about 15 miles away as the crow flies and a station responded and said I sounded like I was sitting in the truck right next to him. Zero complaints here. I mounted it using the MTA12 magnetic mount.

My wife and I both ordered the 6db gain antenna for our vehicles. Here’s is roof mounted and my is fenced mounted. We haven’t put them to the full test yet. The best we have seen is about 5-6 miles range. Her in the middle of town surrounded by very large buildings and me just on the edge of town behind large hills. We both heard each other loud and clear. great antenna. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a GMRS ANTENNA!

This antenna is way worth the money pairing it with my MXT115 Radio. Range improvement tight out of the gate. A most have Antenna. And midland Radios staff hands down the best plus fast shipping thank you Midland.
