Great unit for covered porch area

I purchased the Portacool APEX 500 last summer to use in my covered patio here in North Central TX. The unit has a large reservoir which helps me load it at the beginning of the weekend and it stays with water in it thru the weekend. I use a garden hose to fill and it is all systems go from there. Keeps our area at a manageable temperature and that is saying something on those 105 degree days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the mobile app that permits you to control the unit super easily. It's pricey, but it's very worth the price here in West Texas

Perfect for the back porch

The app is cool but a little tricky to connect in the beginning. Once connected, it's nice to control the fan through the app. It is also a lot quieter than the previous models which I love and it pumps a really good amount of air. It's the talk of the party when people come over and everyone wants to sit in front of it.

Cools area well

Works very well but is only good for smaller area so if you have a bigger area definitely go bigger. I knew this but my patio is small so works for it well. Definitely recommended.

If you’re in a covered garage or room it’s great, down here in the south it gets pretty hot. But this thing kicks tail and keeps the heat down.
