Great for cooling and keeping air flowing

2 Apex 6500's Are Better Than 1

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These coolers are beasts. They are easy to maintain and work great to cool down a fairly good size warehouse. Key to longevity is to follow proper winterization procedures.

Great Product for small warehouses

Summers are better and lowers the temp in our warehouse by about 5-15°F. This is on our end but we use scales and the power of the turbine makes it hard but other than that, it helps use work in manageable temps.

Keeps the crew cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time we've purchased one of these and it did help in the smaller area to keep the crew cooler. When it was super-hot like in the 90's it did however out additional humidity in the air so that was a drawback. Overall we liked it and will use it when needed just have to monitor the humidity level when in operation.

Big improvement

We had a smaller Portacool unit for many years. It helped a little bit. By upgrading to the 6500 we see a 10 to 15° difference. The guy at the shop are very happy. Gets to about 100° outside during the summer.

This unit seems big and bulky at first. But once it’s on I was very satisfied with the amount of power and coolness. I like that it’s very mobile and easy to move around.

Big fan big difference!

The Portacool APEX 6500 is an absolute beast of a fan. The cooling power on this thing is unreal. In a big shop or garage where the heat normally just sits and cooks you, this fan moves a ton of air and actually makes the space comfortable to work in. You can feel the difference immediately once it’s running.

This is an awesome unit. We use it in our fleet maintenance shop and it cools the entire building very well. The app works well and is a nice feature.
