Great Cooler

Works great for central Texas. I have it in the back patio and I am always at least 20 degrees! It’s quieter than my previous unit. The only minor issue is it dropped the wifi and I get can’t back online. But, not really need. It’s a great unit and i could not be happier with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very pleased with the operation of my unit
We use it nearly daily on our back patio
I would like to see you add a chiller plate to the water tank that would drop the water temp 30deg or more

Huge upgrade to old style portacool

Apex is an amazing improvement over the legacy model. Drying air in the bottom and discharge from the top enables you to push the unit up against the wall. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and internal logic are exceptional for preserving the media. My wife loves the reduced volume.

The best portable cooler around!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Control with your phone! The best mobile cooler out there. We have a Portacool APEX 700 and a Portacool Jetstream 220 and they do a great job keeping my guys cool when the bays can get up to 120 degrees. I have had different coolers in the past, but these are by far the best!

Leaks & Not Great For Garage

Our Apex 700 is in the garage to help our freezer and refrigerator with the hot Texas summer heat. Unfortunately, it leaks water out the front, is a PAIN to reassemble after fixing broken parts, and doesn't cool our garage as well as I expect it too. We also had to replace the water pump within the first year.
Our Apex 4000 in the barn is a ROCKSTAR but the Apex 700 in the garage leaves A LOT to be desired so we will likely move it to our 14x14 greenhouse and get another Portacool with the cooling medium on the back {like the Apex 4000} instead of in the front. Sadly, I'm not impressed with the 700 and am dread turning it on while our 4000 has already been running for a month now.
