It’s an OK backpack. I got it mainly because it meets all airlines’ under seat requirements for a personal item ( those AC ports on some planes really intrude on the space available ). Overall the construction seems ok but the material for the straps as well as the zippers feel lightweight and more suited for office jaunts than travel. The two main pockets are fairly roomy but the back zip pocket and the mesh interior pockets will leave you underwhelmed - you’ll need to get an organizer if you travel with a charger, dongle, mouse/pointer. Also, don’t even think about putting a full water bottle in the side pocket(s), it’ll be on the ground before you know it. In all, this backpack looks great but has limitations
My previous Targus backpacks were much bulkier, so when I got this one I was a bit concerned that it would be too small. I was wrong! While it does have a little less capacity than my previous bags, it still holds quite alot but its structured shape never lets it feel bulky on by shoulder. This makes it even more ideal for travel than my previous backpacks. Lastly, the charcoal & red color combination is just iconic.
