The Targus - 15.6" 40th Anniversary Cypress Hero EcoSmart Backpack is aesthetically design with functionality in mind. It has enough space for laptop and laptop essentials and some clothes space too. This is my go to backpack now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack with lots of compartment to put your charger, wallet, clothes etc. It has two divides for your laptop. My son uses it for his laptop for college. I highly recommend it for school or Even for traveling.

Very lightweight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this for my daughter at school. Her laptop fits well in the bag and she still has some room for her notebooks. I like that it starts out lightweight so when she adds in her things it's lighter than other ones we've used.

I love the usb port it has! That’s super nice. The material it is made out of is great and is holding up very well to every day use.

Meh. An average backpack with limitations

While the materials are OK for the office, don't mistake this for a backpack that will accommodate roughing it. Laptop pocket is a nice fit for a 14" ultrabook but a 15.6 would be a snug fit. The main pocket is large but the divider, like the side water bottle pockets tapers at the bottom making their use limited. The water bottle pockets seem sized for small disposable bottles (maybe that's how they get enough to recycle to make the backpack?). A full hydroflask (20 oz) will tumble out if the pack is lifted by one strap instead of the top handle. Also, the attachment points on the straps are decorative, not reinforced. I'll have to get a storage pouch for cables/chargers as the one meshtop pocket would only hold an external battery (for a cell phone), mouse and dongle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
