Great freezer, just plug it in and it starts right up. I know you're supposed to give it 24 hours to get to full freeze, after 5 hours I moved already frozen foods from my upright to it and they stayed frozen solid. Lid is easy to open and stays sealed all the way. Easy to move around as well. Highly recommended!

I bought this freezer under duress…. My present freezer had died! I had it for 30+ years. It worked great until it didn’t! When I made the purchase, I was told I could purchase additional freezer baskets online from the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer I was told to contact the place where I bought the freezer. When I went back to the retailer they told me they did not have a part number to order freezer baskets so they were not able to order them! What a “cluster”!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
