Burris thought of everything. (except the cap)

I just purchased a new top end crossbow equipped with the ORACLE X scope. I have not finished setting it up yet but I was extremely frustrated trying to close the battery compartment. I spent 15 min trying to get the "screw on" battery cap to engage the threads. My wife spent another 5 min. I finally made a tool to hold the cap so I could screw it on straight. other than that, I am impressed with the scope
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the BEST scope I ever used !!! I have hunted for 47 years and never had a sight this great!

Battery replacement

My only issue is battery replacement. It takes forever to line up the threads to screw the battery cover back on. Frustrating

Great crossbow scope

Installation was straight forward to mount this scope to my Tenpoint crossbow. Once installed I zeroed scope at 20 yds. Then trued the scope by shooting it at further distances. Rangefinder also accounts for elevation (shooting from tree stand) which is very helpful. Great scope for both beginners and advanced crossbow hunters!

Favorite Piece of equipment that I own!

By far my favorite piece of hunting equipment. Gives me more time in the woods without feeling like I have to shoot a bow everyday to be effective. I Don't have the time that I used to practice, and this gets me out and allows me to take beginner hunters with me also. Beginner to expert this checks the box for anyone.

Great scope, TERRIBLE battery placement

I already submitted a review about how much I like this scope but have to add this- the design of the battery location is TERRIBLE!!!!! I'm a dentist and consider myself to have pretty good manual dexterity but it is next to impossible to get the cap back on. I find I have to use some type of pliers to hold it steady and still I've been working on it now for over for 10 minutes! You need to re-design or at least lengthen the cap so you can grasp it. Very frustrating to know you have to do this so often due to short battery life. Forget about doing this in the field!
