[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace my X1 Carbon Gen 4, which no longer supported Windows 11 and had become so sluggish that it exhibited noticeable slowdowns and took an extremely long time to reboot. The new P14s Gen 5 is lightning-fast and boasts a considerable amount of processing power, along with ample 96 GB of RAM and a large 2 TB SSD, which perform even the most demanding tasks with ease. The +50% discounted price made this a no-brainer. I was concerned that all that performance would impact the weight, but it was only slightly heavier, so it was a non-issue. I recommend this for anyone seeking a powerful replacement for an aging laptop.

Opted for the higher ram and SSD storage space, for running multiple VMs and doing heavy software development inside the VMs. So far it has been performing perfectly, all the power I need, and then some. Ease to setup, came with Windows 11 Pro, logged in and my apps were all there.

Lenovo is built well and when i dont have a mouse the touchpad has actual buttons to avoid incorrect presses.
