[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Computer is fast and the fan noise is tolerable (I returned AMD version due to fan noise).
Disabling "Cool & Quiet on Lap" in the BIOS was necessary to minimize input lag when gaming on an external monitor, even though the laptop remained stationary on the desk and the lid was closed.
All the ports are good at securing cables plugged into them.
The laptop is a little fat, but it still fits in my sleeve used for previous 14 inch laptops.
I can easily open the lid with one finger, and it seems easier to do than on the AMD version.
Things I don't like: Can easily see fingerprints on the top of the case.
This is a good laptop.
