mechanical issue

the ac unit is malfunctioning. it’s squeaky while running and sounds like a fan is going to explode. the unit will make a very loud “spinning” sound and then shut off. this happens many times throughout the day.

Going from 5,000 BTU to 14,000 BTU

I have an 800 square foot 100 year old farmhouse that I have been trying to cool with 2 5,000 BTU units and have upgraded to 14,000 for the living room and kitchen unit. Hopefully this will be enough for the house to keep cool.

Generally Good

Like the unit and it performs well. Have periodic loud rattle which appears to come from connection between unit and exhaust vent. As soon as I disconnect the vent rattle stops. Will try different options to eliminate rattling.

Just registered the warranty so far, but it certainly looks like an air conditioner!

It’s heavy so far… there was nothing labeled that it needs to be in an upright position so no matter what you do have to wait 24 hrs
