It wasn’t hard to set up at all. Had it set up and going in maybe 30 minutes if not less and the room is cool as cool can be.

Putting the window pieces together was a bit difficult for me. I used the quick start guide first and wasn’t sure if I got it right. Then I opened and read the manual and it helped. It would have been so much easier if the window sliders and slider locks were put together so all we have to do is pull sliders to fit window and tighten the locks.
