14K compressor fan

I just received my 14000 BTU portable A/C. The unit operates and does blow cold air, but the noise is terrible. Sounds like the compressor or fan is coming apart anytime now. I already lugged the thing up two flights of stairs and installed it and now we cant even talk over it because of the noise. I’m not sure what to do.

Love the oscillation & front temp display

Really like the oscillation feature for better air movement and the front temperature Large LED display is easy to see day or night and you can turn it off via remote if the light is to bright at night. Being picky, a back lit remote at night would be nice. Unit is quiet enough for us, cools well, and has a timer function too on remote or panel.
