Excellent Decision!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new fridge couldn’t be better! The new handle design over our previous professional model is much sturdier and is easier to grab. When opening the door, closing it and then needing to grab something else, there is no longer a vacuum lock like our previous Frigidaire Professional. This is great so you don’t need to jerk or feel like you’re getting a workout to reopen the door. The lighting is great and there is plenty of well laid out storage with the adjustable bins in the door. We also love the inset water dispenser as it is completely non-intrusive. All in all, we couldn’t be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2nd set.new pair is inferior to older model.shelves are limited and constantly slide and drop food. Unfortunate that the price has doubled and the products are disappointing.

The good and bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ergonomics of the refrigerator are great. Nevertheless, quality control at production does not seem too great (broken control panel shelve and missing glass) and apparently the compressor may be undermentioned according to the tech I spoke with. May need replacement after just 3 years based on the tech's experience. At that price, the refrigerators should last 15 years. In general, I would buy European products as their requirement for repair and shelf life has been government regulated to minimize planned obsolescence.

Single Door Mod. FPRU19F8WF Water Leak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed separate single door refrigerator and matching single door freezer in our new kitchen. Within 4 weeks a factory water line at the refrigerator water valve cracked 1” in length on the extrados of a factory bend. Water leaked for almost two days until we returned home. A large area of our newly installed white oak hardwood will need to be replaced due to water damage. It was straight forward to repair during a service call; but it’s been two weeks and I’m still waiting on the Warranty company to contact me concerning my flooring. Sadly, while the fridge & freezer look sharp, the plastic drawers and metal frame are so thin as to be flimsy. This is not as robust a product as the ones we purchased 10 years ago at another home. We all love profit, but back it up with a quality product. If problems occur, then promptly address them.

Sleek Refrigerator/freezer!

The ice machine has filled up the ice trays in a couple of days and we haven't come close to using it all up! Both units have garnered multiple compliments and they have only been installed for a few weeks!
