Like the concept...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the concept behind these pixel blocks - there's a lot you can do with them in theory, and I like that you can follow a pattern or just design open ended. What I found with them though is that they don't really stick in any direction. I shouldn't be surprised because I know that magnets have certain ends that attract and repel, but I thought these were supposed to stick together any way you placed them. The first thing I tried to build (the bird) wouldn't stand up on its own and kept falling apart due to the weight of the magnets.
Like I said, I love the concept and I'm sure my kids will still have a lot of fun playing with these, but they weren't exactly what I thought they would be.
