Finally a huge step forward

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came from an S20. Had that since release and it is still a very solid phone but it's time for me to upgrade and hand down the S20 to my kids before it's less useful.
Well... count me as surprised at the few things that early reviewers didn't touch on so much. First, the battery life. The S22 was ok at best on battery life (per a few friends) but it looks like the S23 made it a priority with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Lasts all day and then some without a charger always needed.
The other thing I was not prepared for because I don't know if the S20 is just THAT old, the signal quality/band support. I went from about 15mbps speed max and shaky connection at work to over 50mbps and a solid connection even in the worst areas of coverage. And at home from 50mbps to over 300! Same network, didn't change carrier at all. I don't even bother with Wi-Fi anymore.
The cameras are fantastic and the smooth framerates of the screen are just perfect. Sound is better than the S20 and all functions are all together improved a good margin.
Only down side...no more MST chip for Samsung Pay. That was the one thing the S20 made better. Paying at old, non NFC terminals when the workers all said it wouldn't work was fun. I'll take that loss for the signal and battery boosts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this model due to its smaller size. It's large enough to see well, even using navigation app while driving. The keyboard is very responsive and accurate. Only downside, so far, is that every time I reset the phone, I have to uninstall amd reinstall the weather widget to get it display. Also, I need to add the message app to the home screen. Not sure why they hide the text message app. They try to get you to use Google messenger and I don't want to use that. Other than that, I am recommending the phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a faithful Samsung galaxy user since the first one came out, that it didn't even have a number, it was just called galaxy! With each one, Samsung never fails to deliver. Always improved features, phone feels smooth and everything needing fixing or easier use gets updated to fit just perfect. This one's camera is just fantastic, especially night selfies!! As always, I highly recommend!!
