[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] putting weight on the riser and having it pulled apart partway results in it sagging at the point the two plates meet. This was disappointing and not aesthetically pleasing, though it does still work.

I purchased this to use

I purchased this to use on my stovetop. As it’s metal, I don’t have to worry about it catching fire. It’s useful and attractive however I gave it only four stars as it has to be assembled. Yamasaki used to send items already assembled. Now they charge the same price and you have to it yourself.

Made one shelf of my Sub-Zero into two

I have a Sub-Zero side-by-side. And while I love the shelves and drawers of the freezer, the fridge section can be tight. I put this on the top shelf - not tall enough for bottles to begin with - to create two tiers for my many short jars and containers of condiments, broth pastes, etc. Totally does the trick.

Hooks are very useless and broke imediately

I've had this on my kitchen counter, where everyday spices are stored. On the hooks that come with it, I keep a can opener, a peeler, measuring spoons, and two small tea cloths. All but one has since broken. These are so cheaply made and really detract from the product.
