Very Small Bluetooth Radius

The audio quality and bass is great. My biggest issue is the bluetooth feature. As soon as I leave the room the music starts to disconnect. Have never had a speaker with such low bluetooth radius. I don’t know if I just got a faulty product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Also, please don't place the speaker too close to the Wi-Fi router and appliances like microwaves that can interfere with the connection. Amazing sound - bigger than I had anticipated

This is a Christmas present for my son, but I had to test it, to make sure it worked, and the sound is amazing! it is bigger than I thought it would be.. but that is probably why the sound is also "big"

Stereo Boost Mode Won’t Stay Connected

I purchased two Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 units and tested them in stereo Boost mode. There’s a behavior that buyers should be aware of:
- Both speakers show solid white LEDs when Boost mode (stereo pair) is active.
- However, if Bluetooth disconnects and reconnects, stereo mode does not return.
- Only the primary speaker plays audio even though both units still display the Boost LED.
- The only way to restore stereo is to:
A. power-cycle both speakers, or
B. factory reset and manually pair them in Boost mode again.
HK support told me this is “normal and expected,” meaning stereo Boost mode must be manually reactivated every time Bluetooth reconnects. It was supposedly escalated, but I never received a follow-up.
Sharing this so others know before buying—persistent stereo pairing is not supported.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought one sounded great got another to stereo link worked a couple times but now they won't link. Still working on it. It shouldn't be this difficult.
