Works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my car in case of an emergency since I live where we get lots of snow this will be great if I break down! It has a flashlight and a charging output so if my phone dies I can charge it! This even has a solar charging panel so you don't have to plug it in to use it! It also has blue tooth on it so you can hook it up to your phone to listen to the radio to see what is going on. Very good sound on it and very loud! The flashlight and hazard light is very bright to! Over all very good product to have in your house or vehicle for emergencys!

Awesome Emergency Radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This emergency radio has it all. When I got it out of the box I kept saying "oh look at this, oh it does this too, look at that!". First off, the speakers sound great. I was not expecting the sound to be as good as it is. It has a regular flashlight on the end of it, and a big led screen of lights on the other side of the big solar panel. It even has a little net in there to store cords! It has all the typical weather and alert settings, usb chargers, sos flashlight, and on the edges on both sides it has red flashing hazards lights. There is even a bottle opener on one end of it. This is a major upgrade from my previous emergency radio and I am thrilled to have it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very useful!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the power goes out and the batteries die you’ll need something solar crank-charged...so why not a radio with both options? It takes some time to charge fully, but once it is you have a fully-functional AM/FM radio with a relatively bright spotlight. It’s really very useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio is amazing. We do a lot of camping, hiking, and fishing. Also, this is great for at home to listen to weather alerts around you. The Altec Lansing Storm Chaser Emergency Weather Radio is Bluetooth so you can link it to your phone. It also comes with an AUX cord so you can plug your phone into it. This radio is Water Resistant so if your out in the rain your radio will still work. There are many great things about this radio. It has a clock where you can also set 2 alarms if you need to. It has a built-in flashlight, also with hazard lights. There are many more things from the AM/FM radio to WB radio with NOAA/NWS bands. There 3 ways you can charge this radio. You can either use the crank, plug it in, or solar panel. The Altec Lansing StormChaser Emergency Weather Speaker is a great way to prepare you in event of severe weather or other natural disasters. With NOAA Weather & S.A.M.E will Alerts sound when severe weather is issued on local channels. This radio has about 10- hour charge with a lithium-ion battery. You can also plug your phone in, Incase your phone died and you need to make a call. Having a built-in AM/FM tuner with an antenna also allows you to enjoy music where ever you go. We love it on our camping trips. Overall we love this radio. We use it all the time at home and on our trips, Never know when you will need it. It has so many great things to it.

Great product

If you've ever had a major storm in your area, or your power has gone out, or both, you know how important it is to have information at your fingertips. This rechargeable radio with weather alert features, will help you keep informed. It has a flashlight and emergency signaling capabilities. It even has a crank operation, if you need to recharge it without any electricity.
While it has a lot of features, it's not difficult to use. There's a small instruction book, and it takes a while to get set up with all your stations and preferences, but once you have it done you're all set. The stations come in clear, and the sound is crisp with a wide range for the volume. I haven't come across any type of design flaw or defects. I think it's well made and sturdy, and should last you through many years.
Hopefully emergencies are few and far between, but just in case, it's always best to be prepared.
I highly recommend this product.

I like that its Bluetooth so I can hook my phone to it to listen to my music and answer and talk on the phone thru it. It has sos feature, flashers for roadside emergency, it has a regular radio that you can program your favorite radio stations to. It has a flash light. It can be charged via wall charger, USB, or chank handle or solor. It is an amazing product!!!!

Portable and multi-use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio is good if you need one to pickup to carry somewhere easily. The radio picks up stations pretty well, the Bluetooth works perfectly, and the weather alerts always come in. It charges easily when you plug it in and via the solar panel. It also can charge your phone or another USB enabled device. The flashlight works pretty well, but the larger panel light isn’t the brightest. While the sound quality is okay, it is a bit flat and doesn’t seem to capture highs and lows very well. That said, it gets a thumbs up for portability and multi-feature use!

Great Emergency Radio!

The flashlight is bright, and the radio comes in really well for living in the sticks. Definitely picking up another for my Husband to have!
