practice ball at best

used several dozen olb3 baseball for off-season rec games. was an overwhelming consensus from coaches, players and umpires that these are crappy balls. the synthetic cover is very plastic like which isn't ideal for pitching. the balls don't play well (very dead) and get misshaped easily. youth practice ball at best. the positive is that they are very inexpensive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My dad bought this ball in 2016 (it’s 2023 now) and although it hasn’t been used it at all, it is a nice souvenir to have.

OK for catch, batting, not pitching

The sparser stitch count (88x2 vs. 108x2 for RNF and MLB) and the synthetic leather cover make this less ideal for pitching. Low price makes it practical for casual play or catch and batting practice.
