I tried to love it!

Finally decided to make the switch from IPhone to Android. The phone looks amazing and at the store seemed to work very good! So I decided to buy the s22+ the same day it was released. I had been team apple for years! So switching to android had me extremely excited! Something new. I had this phone for about a week. The camera on this phone is very nice but front camera NOT SO GOOD. Screen looked amazing but while scrolling the phone felt like it lagged quite a bit just not as smooth. And the biggest CON was the battery life on it I was shocked on how quickly the battery was draining without me even using the device my battery percentage just kept decreasing. I couldn’t go a whole day without having to charge the device. Still on the 3rd day I had hopes and was still willing to give Android a shot. Unfortunately I just couldn’t keep the device. I had to exchange the device for an iPhone once again! iOS is just as smooth as they come. Front camera on iPhone is by far better than on S22+. I definitely feel like Samsung does have the potential but they just really need to tweak up the battery game which was my biggest issue with this device. Even though both iPhone and Samsung are top notch devices, if you are iPhone user and decide to make the switch to android I guarantee that it will feel like a downgrade. Just my opinion based of my experience.

Absolute Junk

Don't waste your money on this phone. It is absolute junk. The battery life is nonexistent, even after trouble shooting and changing to the recommended settings, it randomly gets extremely hot, camera is sluggish at best, calls are dropped, or it acts like it connected without ever connecting. has fallen off the network multiple times. 5G is also nonexistent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Terie,
Thank you for your review of the Samsung Galaxy S22. We appreciate all feedback as it ensures we remain innovative with the design and functionality of our products. I’ve attached an article that should help with keeping your device at its normal temperature and one that addresses the dropped calls you’ve experienced. Also, it sounds as if your phone is still under warranty so I attached the warranty department as well. Please reach out to them and or Samsung Support for assistance. Thank you for being a valued customer. –Bethany

The phone is useless to me with out a SD Card.
I will go back to my old phone.
Samsung you already are making a Sim card Slot. Why not have the SD Card like you have had in the past?

Shame on Samsung

I am stuck with the Ultra Plus after turning in my wonderful Note 8. Had to disable Bixby because I couldn't turn the phone on without it popping up, twice, when I went to shut the phone down it asks for my pin beforehand, really crazy, but since it doesn't happen all the time impossible to show to anyone. Haven't been able to take a screen shot per instructions, maybe because Bixby was disabled, who knows, and tried a few other methods per what was shown on line, but doesn't work. Can't believe the wired headphone jack plugs into where you charge the phone, the stylus on the left hand side boggles the mind since most people, myself included, are right handed, and the stylus doesn't always stay in, even though I know how to do that since I have had the Note 2, Note 5, and Note 8, so no stranger to putting my stylus in properly after use, the screen goes dark constantly, even when working out at the health club and I constantly have to restart the phone to even switch a station if I choose when playing music, the display timing out at 10 minutes max with no custom option is absurd, unless you think this phone can't handle the display staying on a little longer, tried bluetooth over wired ear plugs and suddenly Google Assistant keeps popping up, and the problems just go on and on and on. I can't find an alternative right now, certainly not a phone with a stylus which is my preference given arthritis, and so now with just 5 days remaining to turn in the phone for something else, I have no alternative, and this phone is nothing but trouble. How could you, Samsung?
