Remote doesn't work

While I enjoy the product, the remote that you shipped with it does not work. Installed brand new batteries and the remote doesn't even turn the vibration plate on. The machine itself turns on manually and works great.

I just received my LifePro Waver Vibration Plate and am looking to forward giving it a try. The product is very sturdy & quite heavy. The female end of power cord does not fit very snugly into the unit. It wiggles back & forth at rest. The color is nice and the operating panel & the remote control seems easy to use. The product odor is unpleasant & overwhelming. Smells like a rubber tire. The printed materials also have a plastic smell. I am hoping the toxic smell will go away over time.
