Can’t get the power cord inserted

I don’t know if I’m not strong enough (53 yo female should be!) or my unit is defective. I can’t get the power cord to click as the instructions note. The cord seems firmly attached but no power.

I been using it for about 2 weeks and so far I love it.. I feel great..
I use it 15 mins a day and I feel relieved from tension ..

Researched for a long time and determined this would fit my needs and hopefully help with my diagnoses. Only used a week, but I can already feel the results! Most notably how much easier it is for me to fall asleep at night when I do my session before bed. Tracking results and symptoms and can't wait to see more.
