I bought this system a month ago for my northern Virginia unfinished basement and couldn’t be happier. The ability to pump up or gravity feed the water is a really nice feature.
I’ve probably owned 20 dehumidifiers over the years, even a Honeywell whole house one the lasted about two years and cost a fortune. None of them worked well or lasted very long until I found Mosiwell’s products. I own two Mosiwell units now, and they are true, non-nonsense workhorses. They are simple to operate, they pump out the water as needed and they are quiet. Simply put, they work perfectly, are extremely well made. Highly recommend their products.
This is a seriously powerful dehumidifier! My previous 80-pint humidifier was running constantly and only able to keep my basement humidity around 58%. This Moiswell unit lowered it to just 45% overnight. It has no issue maintaining the low level and even cycles off at times. It is a little loud, which I suppose can be expected given how effective it is. The standard gravity drain hose occasionally drips at the connection, unfortunately, and there is already some dark buildup visible in the translucent drain hose after just a few days. Hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about, but I will monitor.
I bought the Moiswell at the end of spring. It is the perfect dehumidifier for our finished basement. We’ve had problems with moisture in past years. The Moiswell Pioneer XI takes care of our problem basement and keeps it dry and cool. A fabulous dehumidifier.
Bought to bring down the humidity in a garage in Florida and it works great! Humidy set at 45 and unit keeps garage within +/- 3. Doing exactly what I bought it for.
