I have a root cellar in a 126 year old house. It is often too damp and the moisture is not good for the foundation. This works well. It was hung up so that that it could drain into the condensation pump tub of the HVAC providing no need to manually dump the water. A solid purchase, super quiet.

Easy to setup and operate. Solid build quality, and I like the carrying handles and adjustable feet that allow me to level the unit on uneven surfaces. I've been operating it for about a month in my basement and it is doing a a great job keeping the target humidity level. Since it is summer time, the unit has been running almost continuously. I am using the drain feature, not the internal pump - so I cannot provide an opinion on the pump.

It does ok. The pump feature says it can go high up and a distance but mine seems not to have very much pumping power if any. Not thrilled with the performance there. For the price I think that should at least be better.

A bit disappointed in the performance, my basement is under 1000 square feet, yet the unit seems to continuously run, and can never hit the set point of 45-50% humidity. I’ve had other less expensive units perform better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
