I bought this after getting a Waykar 155 pint. This is way more efficient and high cfm. The price between them weren't that far off. I have mine set at 40% and it doesnt run a lot vs. The waykar. Its not that loud either but im used to white noise as I have two air purifiers. Im quite pleased with this Vp240. Its keeping my old, settled house livable while I do what I can to fix issues.
We use this in a large work area where humidity can be difficult to control, and it has handled the space very well. The built-in pump is a big convenience since the drain hose can be routed where we need it and the unit can keep running without much attention. It removes moisture consistently and has been very reliable.
