Was my only concern when I bought this TV. For what its worth it really depends on what your watching. Progressive is more seamless then interlaced but 1080 has more pixels, in my opinion unless its 1080p this TV is better then any 1080i for the same money.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color

Forget standard LCDs, LEDs, Plasma TVs, 3D is the future, this is a great tv with a crisp and clear image, you will not be dissapointed.

This TV is one of the best and value for money. The features and set up are really easy to use. All our other products ie game consoles, dvd and home theatre system easily connected to the TV and all look great. Pleased ? YES
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, easy connections, space saving
Cons: does not come with cables, guide lacks complete cable type listings

I have this tv about 2 weeks now and the picture is awesome. I don't have the 3D glasses to go with it as they are too expensive so I can't comment on the 3D feature.I have 2 other samsung lcd tv s as well and all 3 are excellent.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive

black screen & spider cracks

i've owned this product for over 1 yr. little over 6 months from owning this t.v. i started getting this black screens. you know when you turn it on you hear a chime this then the screen turns on but in my case you here the chimes then the sound from the channel you left it on before BUT no picture. ( BTW SAME BLACK SCREEN I'M GETTING FROM MY OTHER SAMSUNG) so i turn it off and back on and after a few tries i got the tv to work. well its gotten worse now and its a pain i've called Geek Squad and they've come over but the thing is there is times the TV works fine with no issues and it happen to be one of the times they came over so they didnt do nothing. BUT this morning i noticed spider cracks from it and i've looked around the web and forums and i guess this a common problem with samsungs... UGH!
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tv if you plan to use it for a week! Burn In

I purchased this tv and it worked great out of the box for a whole week, about an hour a night... Wife had the guide menu on for a couple minutes and it burn the ghost image into the screen. Brought it back to the store "70 miles" for them to tell me they already recalled this tv and have gotten 20,000 back from customers. Great Price if it worked!
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, burn in

I have this TV 31 days it is in my bedroom and gets very little use. It already has burn in from the CNN logo. Sears will not take it back, so I already need service.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality

the picture is crisp and clear the color tone is bright and vivid and the 3d is so cool when playing playstation 3 games like call of duty black ops. And i like that you can connect your mp3 player and listen to your favorite tunes.
