...could be just the enclosed pancake recipe, but so far the pancakes are eggy and flatten almost immediately. I may have a different take when I try a new recipe...

I've used this only once, so far. It gets really hot on the edge, so, be careful. But, it heated up my sandwich evenly with a crispy crust :)
