I do love this plate unfortunately it squeaks and makes it very annoying to stand on and endure for too long

I hopped on this last night. Many, many speeds seems very stable. But I cannot connect the resistance bands.Please help me with this

I only hopped on it for a minute last night. But wow, very intense, lots of speeds, hopefully I can figure it out, but but I don't know how to attach the resistance bans without taking them apart.Please explain
