Changed the look of my room

When I first opened the box, I was a little dissappointed with the color (I ordered the Khaki) because I could not tell that there was a light blue stripe in the pattern. Once they were hung, they made such an improvement in the look of the room, the blue stripe didn't matter any more. I read other reviews that said they were impossible to get the wrinkles out of. The wrinkles are definately there; however, with a really hot heavy iron (I am a quilter, so I have a high quality iron), the wrinkles came right out. I tried to steam one pair in my steam dyer but it didn't make a big difference and still needed to be ironed - so, just buck it up and get out the spray bottle and iron. Once you are done, you won't be sorry you took the time up front!!

Insulated curtains

I have bought several pairs of these curtains before and loved them. Our 140 year old house needs all the draft stopping protection I can get. However these that I ordered just before Thanksgiving STILL have creases and wrinkles. Now that the holidays are over I can find time to press all 8 panels. They do make a difference in light and drafts but am not pleased at all with the quality of the fabric. Curtains that I ordered 5 years ago still look good and better than the new ones.

These are great! My only complaint is that they come in packaging that makes them so very wrinkled. And the care directions say no tumble dry and no iron, so how do you fix? I used a steamer and it took HOURS and they still aren't perfect. But other than that I love them.

3 out of 4 panles had ugly blemishes that appear to be glue splotches between the inner and outer fabrics, which are fused together, so no way to get the splotches out. Panels had to be returned. Regardless of how easy the return process is, it's a hassle and a disappointment when things don't arrive in perfect condition.

I love the way these curtains block the hot sunlight from making the room too hot. I'm sure they will have the same effect keeping cold out in the winter.

serve the purpose

We had our living room baby bay replaced with 3 double hung windows + custom designed framing with a top shelf. Normally I would have sewed my own panels but found these online. The price was decent + they looked good. I washed them when the arrived + hung them to dry. They are quite wrinkled + will consider a light ironing. I noted a light rusting on the material around the grommets. The panel lengths aren't the same. If i was looking for perfect I would have ordered less reasonably priced curtains. For the price these fill a need for our home. I would recommend + purchase more if so desired. For 84 inch wide window I ended up using 6 panels + the window looks awesome to my family!!
