speakers do not work

I bought two of these speakers and they made no difference in the volume or quality of sound with my HP mini, which I purchased two months ago. I tested both speakers believing that perhaps one was faulty-neither of them worked as I expected. Logitech makes good products, but this speaker is a terrible product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
