Was looking for just a simple, classic style waffle maker and this has proven to be excellent and just what I need. Fairly light weaight, but sturdy and easy to store & clean. Makes excellent waffles. I mostly make buckwheat waffles but have also made regular white flour waffles. Both have turned out nicely - Crisp & nicely browned on the outside & tender on the inside. I might use a little bit of cooking spray for the first one or two waffles (just to ensure no sticking) but I have never had a waffle stick and all have been super easy to remove from the waffle maker. You just have to adjust the temp setting to get the browness, crispness you desire - mine is usually between 3 to 4 depending on the flours used.
