The Waffle Maker worked perfectly. I used the #3 heat, which most waffle makers do NOT have which I find ridiculous. Just remember to use a spray oil (I suggest Pam) before you add the batter or you'll be picking out crumbs! Wonderful for the price.

Inexpensive, well-built, works great. My only issue is that the owner’s manual references a clip to secure the two halves of the waffle maker together for vertical storage. I could locate no such clip. I am still able to store the waffle maker vertically but unless I ensure that the two halves of the waffle maker are making full contact with each other the waffle maker can tip over. The clip would correct this issue if it was actually there.

I used my waffle iron for the first time yesterday, and was generally pleased with it. The instructions for using it are clear, and it makes nice, crisp waffles. It cleans up really easily, even though I created several messes with it, due to adding too much batter. One should definitely use a scant half cup of batter. No need for oil - the waffles don't stick. The only negative for me was that the light didn't change color when I added the batter and closed the lid. It took some pressure and a bit of wiggling to get the light to change. That was a minor issue, and the speed of cooking got faster as I progressed through the bowl of batter. I would recommend this waffle maker.
