This is my third one of these waffle irons. I have learned NOT to oil the grids. I ruined 2 previous ones by doing so. This one will last a lot longer I'm hoping--the other ones lasted 2 years each. The control works well; all in all a great waffle iron for those of us who prefer regular-sized waffles.

I make buttermilk- buckwheat waffles with 100% buckwheat. This iron works well for them. I gauge degree of doneness based on steam rising from the waffle iron rather than the indicator light. These take a little longer to cook than other waffles. I am a little concerned about the hinge… It seems flimsy. Only time will tell. I’ve made four batches of waffles and the iron has performed well.

I bought it a few weeks ago and have only used it once. I like the size of it as it is easy to store. I have arthritis really bad and it is easy for me to use. Would have been nice if it had included a Cuisinart utensil to get the waffle out. That is being picky. I really like their products and have their can opener and toaster. Yes, it’s a good product

Nice waffle maker. Particularly like the red/green light cues to determine readiness to begin and the cue it is ready according to the setting of your choice.
