I do wish control knob was on top not bottom as over pouring can run down onto it.

On the minus side, the one control (light-dark) seems loose. On the plus side, looks nice, doesn't take up much room, easy to use, makes excellent waffles, and does it quickly and cleanly. Don't leave on top of an oven. There is a plastic piece on the bottom that could melt.
