We make up a batch of waffles from scratch, cook, eat a couple, freeze the rest for later on. Red and green lights make it easy to know when the iron is ready, or the waffles done. Easy to clean. Highly recommend.

I love the size which is fairly compact. It heats up quickly and there are various settings for how you want your waffles done. The greatest thing is that it stands up for storage which is a space saver.

Less Expensive But Plan on Careful Attention

Certainly more affordable than others but the heat control, side to side lever seems inaccurate and waffle itself splits across the middle leaving 1/2 on top and rest on bottom, even though green light indicates waffle is done.
