The hinge on this waffle iron is poor with way tooooooo much play in it. I changed from a Procter Silex to this model and found the waffles are HALF as thick. The only nice thing is the heat settings. I would be nice to know if the iron surface has Teflon on it.

This is a very good waffle maker. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Please note you should adjust the cooking time depending on the type of batter you are using. For regular flour batter I cooked it between setting 3-4. When I used corn meal I had to lower the temperature setting to 3.

I couldn't be happier with the purchase of this waffle maker. The indicator lights let you know when to add batter and when the waffles are done making for perfect waffles every time. The non-stick surface works great and makes for easy cleanup. It's so easy to use and I highly recommend this product.

Bought this mini waffle maker because I hate the frozen ones. Was happy with the ease of use and end results, just be careful to not put more than 1 cup of batter in or it will run over.

The waffle maker is easy to use, and makes waffles in a minimum of time. However, the heat distribution is not good. There is a defined ring of higher heat that is not evenly distributed across the grid.
