The classic round waffle maker brings back many memories of my childhood, sitting around the breakfast table with my family and enjoying round waffles for breakfast or even dinner. The waffle iron is extremely well-constructed and should provide years of reliable service. Belgian-style waffles are a nice treat, but nothing is as good and special as the original.

THE BEST EVER! This one was replacing my original Cuisenart waffle maker that is 21 plus years old. I only replaced since it was still available and the temp control piece had broken off. However, it still worked perfectly and I was able to adjust temps by sliding a knife in to make sure of perfect position. My waffles always turn out beautifully. Passing the old one down to my daughter.

As with all of my Cuisinart kitchen appliances, I really love this waffle maker. The waffles come out consistently uniform every time and they are delicious. Put the batter in, close the lid and, after a few seconds, a red light appears. When the light turns green again, the waffles are finished… no more setting a timer. The unit also comes with a generous recipe collection (included in the instruction book). A FANTASTIC waffle maker!

It's a very basic waffle maker. Plates do not come out for washing. It would be nice if there was some kind of indicator as to how much batter to use. I'm an idiot and never made waffles. I made a mess. LOL

My waffle iron quit, it was almost 20 years old. My new one, Cuisinart, is wonderful. I was quite leary about most of the new ones out until I found this one. The size I wanted and it has a new feature to me. I can pick the degree of brownness in the finished product. So now, not everyone can have the waffle they want.
