the waffle settings not close to what happens. at midpoint setting shows done after 30 seconds, still raw inside. i picked this item so i could make smaller batches. i have been making waffles for 50 years and this the most unsatisfactory waffle maker i have owned or used.

Easy to use. Fast. Large enough to do the job and stores easily. My only problem with it is that it is not 100% non-stick and I don't feel I can adequately clean the plates without using detergent and rinsing with my sink hose. Although I am careful, I am concerned I might get water inside the unit. In a nutshell, great little waffle maker, easy to store, but personally, I am not satisfied with just wiping out with a wet paper towel.

The waffle plates are not deep enough and produce a very thin waffle. I also found that the outer rim is not prominent enough to shape the edge of the waffle.
